Carlingcott Methodist Chapel (1862)

At Carlingcott the ordinary means have been attended with extraordinary results. The church has been in earnest for a blessing, and God has honoured their faith and works of love by giving them many souls. Not only are their preaching services well attended, but their prayer-meetings fill the chapel, and they are talking of enlargement. The labours of our circuit minister, the Rev. T. Barker, have been indefatigable, and, in connexion with special and local aid, contributed largely to these gracious results. A. C.
