Nebo Welsh Baptist Chapel - Cefn Cribbwr (1905)

The heavenly breeze gently fell on us in early November 1904; I say gently, but yet effectively, because from then till now the sweet perfumes continue to be spread, and we believe that pieces of the enemy's "Common" will still continue to be added to the cultivated land of the Lord's garden here. On January 1st we had the pleasure of seeing 29 buried in the watery grave [=baptised], and it is a comforting fact to note that every one of them has arisen from it to walk in a new life. This baptism took place on the above date at the request of a young girl, who gave expression to her desire to give herself as a New Year's Gift to her Saviour. On January 15th, behold 9 others following the 29, or rather following him who came from Nazareth to the Jordan to John, &c.

On March 26th again, behold another 12, obeying the same decree, making the number baptised since January 1st, 50.  Besides all this, we have had the pleasure of welcoming back others - a total of more than 60.  Others still are not, “we believe, far from the kingdom of God."
