Darowen Methodist Chapel (1905)

The heavenly fire has arrived in great force in Talywern, Darowen, Melin-Byrhedyn. Some of the older brothers are still rather sceptical, but the young people are on fire and work and pray until their hearts burn with heat and joy. Mr Roberts, Melin-Byrhedyn (MC), has been in the South and Mr Vaughan (W.) Abercegir, has been in Machynlleth, and Miss Breese, Tanlan, and Miss Hughes, Rhosdyrnog, are doing very good, yes, very good work in the district. Some united meetings are held between Darowen, Talywern, and Melin-Byrhedyn, and they are a blessing.
