Extraordinary revival gatherings are being held in various parts of Northumberland. At Hirst great enthusiasm is being displayed at meetings conducted by William Willis, a converted miner of Durham. It is claimed that several hundred converts have been secured within the last three days. Touching scenes are witnessed, men and women weeping in their religious frenzy. Torchlight processions are taking place at midnight. Such scenes have never before been witnessed in the district.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
