Lockerbie (1874)

A REPORT OF THE FREE CHURCH

...Then in various parts of the country where Mr Moody and Mr Sankey have not been, there has been a decided and gracious awakening and revival. For instance, in a large number of congregations in the Synods of Fife and of Perth and Stirling, in Hawick, Lockerbie, in Moffat, in Aberdeenshire, and in many other places which the American brethren have never visited, the word of God has had power and prevailed to the convincing many of sin, and leading them to saving faith in the Lord Jesus.
