kingswood (1876)

The Lord has greatly cheered our hearts by seeing the very worst characters attending our tent services, who never go to any place to hear the Gospel. Some of their ringleaders have professed conversion, and are being used of God among their companions. The after-meetings are most interesting and fruitful, often continuing till eleven o'clock, the interest is so great and the inquirers so numerous. I have just purchased a new circular tent which has been pitched by the side of the large one on purpose for dealing with anxious souls apart from others.
