London (1882)

God is still making bare his Almighty arm here in the salvation of hundreds of precious souls. The Sunday after Congress we had a most marvellous day. Men and women commenced to seek Salvation at 7 o’clock and continually came forward all day. At night, after a powerful meeting, 84 voluntarily came to the mercy seat and sought forgiveness. We believe that He who turns none away supplied their needs. Since our last report, amongst others who have been brought to the Lord here, are two soldiers and two policemen, all of whom are now rejoicing in Jesus. Last Sunday God was in our midst in power to save. Many came for cleansing in the morning; in the afternoon 10 or 12, and at night 67 sought Salvation.

This is just one example of what was happening here. More reports can be seen from the War Cry in future months/years.
