Kidderminster - Salvation Army (1880)

Glorious day yesterday. 273 at 7 prayer meeting. A never to be forgotten time. 23 crying out for mercy. 150 at 10 open-air march. Could not count our members at two. All crowded; more room wanted. Cannot describe the meeting; town stirred, people fainting, saints rejoicing and we wound up another Sunday with 34 souls captured for Jesus and hundreds under conviction. We mean victory or death.

From, 'The War Cry', November 1880.
