Bloxwich - Salvation Army (1881)

Since the opening of the station many a soul has been aroused from sin and has come to life and is now living for God. The past week has been a blessed time; souls saved every night. Sunday, good meeting; Hall full at night; many unable to obtain admission. The power of God came down; many felt it; some rejected; others cried and wept their way to the feet of Jesus. 20 came forward, making 54 for the week. We mean to fight and pray on for Bloxwich.

From, 'The War Cry', August 1881.

This is just one example of what was happening here. More reports can be seen from the War Cry in future years.
