Peniel Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Pen-Y-Ffordd (1905)

Nowhere has had more converts than this young church. It has been on its knees almost every evening for two months, with little help from outside, and God has rewarded it. I was there last Wednesday afternoon. The whole area has been awakened by the Revival. There was a sisters' meeting at three in the afternoon; one had come there to give herself to Christ; her husband had done so the previous evening. Other churches are working just as energetically and successfully. Thanks be to the Lord for what we have received. We expect great things again in the weeks ahead.

Additional Information

Nid oes yr un lle wedi cael mwy o  ddychweledigion na'r eglwys ieuanc hon. Mae wedi bod ar ei gliniau bron bob nos er's dau fis, heb fawr o gynorthwy allanol, ac y mae Duw wedi talu yn iawn iddi. Prydnawn Mercher diweddaf yr oeddwn yno. Yr ardal wedi deffro twyddi gan y Diwygiad. Cyfarfod chwiorydd am dri y prydnawn, un wedi dyfod yno i roi ei hun i Grist, ei phriod wedi ei rhagflaenu y noson gynt. Mae eglwysi eraill yn gweithio yr un mor egniol a llwyddiannus. Diolch i'r Arglwydd am a gafwyd. Disgwyliwn bethau mawr eto yr wythnos an dyfodol.
