Brynmawr Chapel - Betws-y-Coed (1904)

Rev. John Thomas Job from Carneddi Chapel, Bethesda, came to the town at Christmas 1904. This is the most likely chapel he would have spoken in. He brought the 'fire' from his church. His diary states, 'The fire has taken hold in Bettws! Praise Him! For more on the Revival in Bethesda see 'When God came to North Wales', published by Quinta Press, 2010. Several members have joined the Bryn Mawr and Tabernacle chapels as a result of the revival and prayer meetings are held each night.
