Aberdovey (1905)

The revival continues in its intensity and power along the villages and towns of Merionethshire sea-shore. Open-air meetings are held at Aberdovey which have been the means of converting many of the sailors who visit this seaport. The public houses are not frequented except by a few travellers and they are closed earlier in the day. A pleasing feature of the revival here is that not only the Nonconformists take part, but a large number of Churchmen also.

From, 'The Wrexham Advertiser', 21st January 1905.

Additional Information
