Paisley (1859)

Mr Sillars addressed a crowded meeting in the Independent Chapel, Paisley, on Tuesday night, and about a hundred persons remained behind, when an opportunity was given to those who felt anxiety about their souls. One girl, who found peace that night; on going to her work in the mill next day, was the means of awakening about a dozen of her fellow-workers. These were conversed with afterwards in a private house, and all of them profess now to have found peace.
