The following is from the Rev. E. Cartis:- You will be glad to know that the recent visit to this locality of your evangelist E. J. Mitchell was attended with considerable blessing. The meetings were uniformly good, the addresses very powerful, and the results most encouraging. Some cases of conversion have come under our notice, and we doubt not that others will soon reveal themselves, A deeper religious interest has been produced throughout the neighbourhood, and many are certainly beginning to apply their hearts unto wisdom by seriously listening to the truths of the Gospel they have so long neglected.
