Hillgate Wesleyan Chapel (1792-1796)

Robert Miller, one of the Circuit ministers wrote, 'I preached out of doors in many places, to very large congregations. We had the pleasure of seeing the work of the Lord prosper in the Circuit so that at the end of the year, we left more than 200 increase, most of whom were converted.'

Membership of the Society rose from 655 to 1420.
