A new young minister came to Eaglesham in 1867, and preached every day for three months, although nothing much initially happened, until a few started to enquire after God in a Bible study. More and more gave their lives to the Lord. Someone remarked that there was such power and unction from on high. There was revival the whole three years that the minister remained in Eaglesham.
