Such was the generally favourable impression made by the labours of John Smith at Augher, that when Mr Wesley visited. the town in April, and preached in the castle-yard—the use of which was doubtless obtained by Mr Moore—the congregations were both " large and deeply serious."

Location unnkown. Although there is not too much information on what happened in Augher and the surrounding district, a later report says that there was a great need for ministers at the Augher circuit because of the success there. John Smith seems to have taken revival to most of the places he went.
