Blaenpennal (1858)

At the end of November 1858 Humphrey Jones and David Morgan went to Blaenpennal where they found, 'a prepared people and the service was a memorable one.' Neither of them could minister because of the profuse weeping which overpowered the congregation and Morgan could only cry out, his countenance transfigured as though seeing heaven opened, 'Oh! the divine Shekinah!' There were nine professions of conversion that morning and the good work thus begun at Blaenpennal continued unabated for many months.
