Humphrey Jones Birthplace (1832)

I am not sure if this is Jones's birthplace or the place where he had meetings. On Jones' return from America in 1858 he went around to see his old neighbours and there was a stirring. On the Sunday he had a meeting in his old home. 'His mien was dignified and graceful, his voice deep and resonant and full of magnetic charm.' Prayer meetings and services were held for two weeks and many gave their lives to Christ.

Additional Information

As you go north through the town turn right at the end of town by the garage and the Chapel is immediately on your left. It was a chapel, then a museum and now it is empty. A local person said that he was born at Ynys Tudor, but I cannot verify that.
