NEWTON STEWART. - We are favoured with gracious tokens of the Lord's presence here. Agents of the Scottish Evangelistic Association have, in the providence of God, been sent to this place, and meetings have been held every night for several weeks past. Many have remained at the after-meetings, deeply anxious about their souls, and numbers of sin-burdened ones, we believe, have found sweet rest in Jesus. Much precious fruit has been gathered; and we earnestly pray that a richer and still more abundant harvest may be reaped. Our loving God shall have all the glory.
