The Brethren met in Argyll Hall, and revival spread. They reported 200 salvations.

Additional Information

What became known as The Gospel Hall and Brethren Chinese Restaurant, was known as the Argyle Hall and belonged toa publicanThe hall was leased to the Christian Brethren but their lease was withdrawn when there was a campaign locally to make Cambuslang a "dry" area. This in effect did take place and the publican assumed (wrongly) that the Brethren were the primary factor in this withdrawal of the sale of the liquor licence, hence his cancellation of their lease.

I do not know where in Main Street the hall was.
