'The Lanarkshire' reported that they had recieved a postcard that read, ‘Will have visitors from all parts coming to see the Lord’s working. The Lord is doing great things in our midst – the mighty and wise confounded! Twelve souls saved last night. Talk of catching fire. We are burning! Glory all the way. Glory night and day. Never experienced such a meeting.’
