I am thankful to say the Lord is blessing us in a wonderful manner here, some of the worst characters in Guernsey have come to our meetings. God's Spirit has laid hold on them and they have had to cry for mercy. Glory be to God! He has heard them cry and spoken peace to many a weary sin-sick soul who are today in the ranks of the Army, inviting their friends and companions to go with them to heaven. Our meetings are grand both outside and in the Hall. Last week we had souls nearly every night, 10 and 12 at a time. Praise God! Last Sunday was a glorious day, 54 Army converts in procession. At night, crowded Hall, deep conviction: nine souls. Hallelujah! Monday night, good open-air; very precious time inside, 25 out seeking pardon. Making 110 since we commenced on the 7th of August; to God be all the glory. We are going on in the strength of our King, believing for great victories through the blood of the Lamb.

(Capt. C. Jackson).—On Sunday morning, met at seven am, to get quipped for the day's warfare. In the open-air at ten o'clock, some good hot Gospel truths were poured into the enemy's camp. Inside, at eleven, very good time. In the afternoon, some good testimonies were given. Many blessed the day The Army came to Guernsey, and said it was the happiest time they had spent. One precious soul captured for King Jesus. At night, while, we were warning perishing souls to flee from the wrath to come we believe the Spirit of the Lord was working and convicting of sin, for at the close of the meeting, five more professed to find Jesus. On Monday, nearly 300 sat down to tea: afterwards we had a good march to arouse the enemy. Over 130 in the procession. Inside had a precious time. There was rejoicing on earth, and we believe there was also rejoicing with the angels in Heaven, as two backsliders returned to the fold, and four precious souls, who had been led captive by Satan at his will, sought forgiveness from the Friend of sinners. Our prayer is that they may be faithful and valiant Soldiers of the Cross.
