Invite Michael Marcel
Michael Marcel has spent over 35 years in ministry and more than a decade recording where God has moved in revival across Britain and Ireland. He has mapped over 5,500 revival sites and made films on the ground where those awakenings began. He speaks on the national picture, the great awakenings across Britain and Ireland, and can just as easily tell the revival story of your own area. He would love to bring that story, and the hope it carries, to your church or event.
Michael can tell the story of revival across Britain and Ireland as a whole, or focus on the wells and awakenings recorded in your own county. Most churches ask for a little of both.
Where Michael has already filmed at the sites, talks can be illustrated with that footage, which holds the attention of all ages. Filming exists for some places and not others, so tell us what you have in mind and we will say what is available.
The past is never the point on its own. Michael's aim is always to stir faith that God will move again, and to help people step into their calling.
Preaching at one or more services, with time to pray for people afterwards.
A main session or seminar, with material shaped around your theme.
Friday to Sunday: teaching, testimony and ministry, building through the weekend.
A screening of one of the UK Wells films, followed by questions and discussion.
A guided visit to the revival sites near you, with the history told on location.
Interviews, online teaching sessions and podcast conversations.
Each talk is shaped around your event, your theme and the time available. Every subject below works as a national talk, and any of them can include the revival history of your own area if you would like it.
Where God has moved across Britain and Ireland, from Wales to the Hebrides, and why those places still matter to the Church today.
What the great revivals had in common, what began them, and what they ask of us in this generation.
How the Church has changed through history, and the new structures God uses in every fresh move.
The work of the Holy Spirit in the believer, and what it has looked like in past awakenings.
Encouragement and practical help for those sensing God calling them into something new.
Leaving the wilderness season behind and taking hold of the promise God has given.
Living from the flow of the Spirit rather than our own effort.
Optional: a talk built around the wells and revivals recorded in your own county.
This is an option, not the whole story. Search your town on the UK Wells map to see the revival sites nearest to you, and Michael can weave them into the talk.
When Michael Marcel visited Ashington to teach on revival, his depth of historical knowledge and clear saturation in the topic over many years was inspirational to all. God used him to impart a real appetite for revival and longing for the Spirit to move in power amongst us today.

Michael Marcel has made himself a student of Revival. His thorough approach... coupled with his passion for Jesus, make a great resource for anyone seeking and praying for revival.

Michael Marcel writes with passion, provoking us to pull down a new Revival through prayer, and as ‘fire igniters’ to go out into the highways and byways to bring in the lost. We must be a generation that walks in Revival and hands over to our children a legacy they can build on.

Anywhere in the UK and Ireland, and he will consider invitations further afield. For longer journeys we usually look at a weekend or a short tour so the trip serves as many people as possible.
There is no fixed fee. Churches normally cover travel and, where needed, overnight accommodation, and give an offering as they are able. Tell us your situation in the form and we will find a way that works.
A screen or large TV, a projector where possible, and sound that can be heard clearly at the back. We will send the film in advance, or Michael can bring it with him.
Yes. He can bring a book table, or your church can order stock beforehand from the UK Wells shop.
Two to three months is ideal, though it is always worth asking about a closer date in case the diary allows it.
Not at all. Michael is just as happy speaking on revival across Britain and Ireland, on one of the great awakenings, or on a theme of your choosing. Local history is something he can add, not a condition.
Yes. Small gatherings, prayer meetings and midweek groups are very welcome.
Tell us a little about your event. Nothing is confirmed by sending this, and we will never pass your details on.
