Helston - Salvation Army

Date: 1882  ·  Place: Helston, Cornwall  ·  Type: National well

(Capt. William Burchett) - Sunday was a grand day to our souls. We began well at Knee-drill, and went on well all day. At night it was a meeting never to be forgotten for the people were crying all over our Hall, and some rushing out of the doors because the Spirit of God was so upon them, and some weeping at the Mercy-seat for the Lord to save their souls.

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 16th March 1882.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
