Glorious day yesterday; 21 souls. During the last week, with yesterday, 124 saved.
From, 'The War Cry', November 1880.
Blessed meeting; God is saving. Monday night was a precious time – 10 souls got sweetly saved. Tuesday night better still – 20 more wept their way to Calvary. Praise God for what He is doing in Trowbridge. But this is nothing to what God is going to do for the people here. The hall is packed every night.
From, 'The War Cry', November 1880.
(Capt. D. Davies) -Our Holiness Meeting on Friday was a real heart-searching time, our Soldiers were filled with the Holy Ghost, and affer speaking, there was great power. At the close six came out for the blessing of a clean heart. And Saturday night was a real free-and-easy time; and at 9:30 a coffee supper for friends, who came a long distance. After which the Watch Night service commenced; Hall packed, and at the close twenty-five came out, some for pardon, and some for purity. The evil raged outside, but we felt the power of God come down.
From, "The War Cry," page 3, 12th January 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
