Kingswood - Salvation Army

Date: 1882  ·  Place: Kingswood, Bristol  ·  Type: National well

(Capt. Richards). We have just caught a big fish, an old musician. On Sunday. it was good from seven am. to nine p.m. We had the Blind "Pilgrim" with us; Hall packed: Conviction all over the place; one soul. All persecution has disappeared; people think there is some reality about us after all.

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 9th February 1882.

This does not sound much, but the whole of the Salvation Army was in revival at this time.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
