Penzance - Salvation Army

Date: 1881  ·  Place: Penzance, Cornwall  ·  Type: National well

The past week has been a time of great blessing. Our Soldiers are getting Sanctified and filled with the power of the Holy Ghost. Saints and angels rejoiced over eight precious souls in the fountain for Salvation. Our meetings are as crowded as ever. Lord keep us working, fighting and believing in greater things.

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 12th January, 1882

We have had some blessed meetings lately, sinners coming to Jesus at nearly every muster. The Army has been to Marazion two or three times. The last time we captured 22 prisoners. We had a good day on Sunday and 96 testified for the Master.

From, 'The War Cry', March 1882.
