Llanelli - Salvation Army

Date: 1882  ·  Place: Llanelli, Carmarthenshire  ·  Type: National well

About 250 have sought salvation during the past four weeks. Our barracks are crowded every night and many have to go away unable to obtain admission. One of our new converts had not been in a place of worship for 14 years, he is now gloriously saved. As many as 30 souls have been plunging into the Fountain at one service. Praise God!

From, 'The War Cry', July 1882.

This is just one example of what was happening here. More reports can be seen from the War Cry in future months/years.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
