Leith - Salvation Army

Date: 1882  ·  Place: Leith, Edinburgh  ·  Type: National well

(Capt. Hannah Gffick) -Although this place is noted for sinfulness, our Corps is steadily progressing. We know that the Lord of Hosts is on our side. Last week we had glorious meetlngs, the power of God was felt in our midst and each night one soul sought the Lord. Sunday was a real time of blessing, although at night greatly disturbed by the roughs, yet, Hallelujah! five precious souls came forward and sought Salvation. We are sure of victory.

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 23rd March 1882.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
