Aberdeen - Salvation Army

Date: 1881  ·  Place: Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire  ·  Type: National well

Glorious success Sunday; Grand meetings all day. Afternoon thousands outside. Hall packed inside. Thousands upon thousands following us; two places going. At night, I held the fort at Sunday Hall, Mrs Wilson at the weeknight hall. Hundreds outside each place could not get in. Finished up a glorious day with 23 souls.

From, 'The War Cry', August 1881.

We are going up at this Station; Hall crammed every night and men and women coming out to the Mercy Seat. Sunday, grand times in the open-air and inside. Place packed at night with splendid results at the close.

From, "The War Cry," page 2, 12th January 1882.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
