GRANTHAN (Captain Shepherd), — Private Barratt writes: "Hallelujah, we are going up! We mean fighting on for Jesus! On Saturday night, we had a grand Free and Easy. Grand day on Sunday; good marches, glorious meetings. Theatre packed at night, lots could not get in; the power of God was with us. At the close of the meeting, eighteen precious souls left the devil's ranks and wept their way to Calvary.

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 12th January 1882.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
