Bulwell - Salvation Army
Date: 1882 · Place: Bulwell, Nottinghamshire · Type: National well
(Capt, Holtom) Private Joseph Parker writes:- "Capt. Holtom has taken command of this Station, and, already, God has blessed her best efforts to rescue sinners from the grasp of Satan. Several have confessed their sins and trusted in Him who justifieth the ungodly. Hallelujah! Crowds of people come to the meetings. I am sorry to say our little Salvation Cabin is not half large enough. We greatly feel the need of new Barracks. I pray that God ere long convert somebody who has some money and convert his pocket as well as his soul.
From, "The War Cry," page 3, 16th February 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
