Boston - Salvation Army

Date: 1880  ·  Place: Boston, Lincolnshire  ·  Type: National well

Victory all the week. 21 souls in eight days. Praise God! Last Sunday was a high day for the 61st blood and five. 60 in the open air. 1,000 inside. Power of God all day. Magistrates stop music in the streets, but cannot stop sinners being saved. 70 spoke in 15 minutes. Hallelujah! The 61st is being led on to victory by the hallelujah Yorkshireman. We mean victory through the Blood of the Lamb. Devil defeated, soldiers jumping, glory streaming, ranks swelling, lots convicted, more to follow.

From, 'The War Cry', November 1880.

I do not know where the meetings were held.
