Lincoln - Salvation Army

Date: 1882  ·  Place: Lincoln, Lincolnshire  ·  Type: National well

(Capt. Nellie Seymour)-vLieut. A. Vernon writes,—"'The Saivation Army is bound to go along,' is no less true in Lincoln than all over England. We have beep having some glorious times here, and we are still belleving for souls. God has honoured our faith, and given us one or more souls every night. Sunday was, on the whole, a good day. The rain came down, and so did the glory, We had the "Converted Israelite," from Waddington, with us all day. Morning Knee-Drill, got well filled for the day. Eleven a.m., a real hallowing time. Afternoon, eighty-one testified of Jesus's power to save. Evening, God was with us, and backed the Word, and at the close we had to rejoice over one returning to the fold, while four sought pardon. All glory to Jesus!
