Hornsea - Salvation Army
Date: 1882 · Place: Hornsea, Yorkshire · Type: National well
There is a glorious work going forward here. The brass band from the Ice House was with us on Saturday night, and we felt that God was in the meeting blessing our souls. The devil has been very hard at work, but, by God's help, we will run the devil out of Hornsea. Hallelujah! We mean victory through the blood. souls on Sunday night, Praise the Lord, for two souls on Sunday night.
From, "The War Cry," page 3, 9th February 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
