(Captain Sneesby).—This Station promises to do well. We have had some very good meetings since the re-opening. One Sunday eleven souls. Two drunken men came to the prayer-meeting on Sunday night: they had not been in long before one of them, a big powertul man, burst out singing-
"I do believe, I will beleve, That Jesus died for me!"
And came to the feet of His Saviour seeking forgiveness for the past and hope for the time to come. A sister said, "The people tell me I have gone crankey, but I know better. While I was washing up some pots at home, I asked the Lord to wash my heart as clean as the crockery, and, bless the Lord he did it; and, this morning, I can shout, "Hallelujah to Jesus."
From, "The War Cry," page 3, 9th February 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
