(Capt. Carrance) -Our Holiness

Meetings are grand times; it makes our hearts rejoice as we listen to the testimonies of our Soldiers. Although thls is but a young Corps, they love Holiness, and live it. On Saturday night, our Free-and-Easy was grand; many testified, and thanked God for The Salvation Army. One brother said, before he was saved they used to call him "Drunken Joe" but now he is the happiest man in Ferndale. Sunday grand meetings all day. At night, the power of God came down, and seven souls wept their way to Calvary. Hallelujah!

From, "The War Cry," page 3, 23rd February 1882.

I do not know where these meetings were held.
