Otley - Salvation Army
Date: 1882 · Place: Otley, Yorkshire · Type: National well
Thank God we are going in for Otley for Jesus. We have been in the fight two weeks and we have had victory every side and souls born again at every meeting. The police are on our side as well as the Almighty. Sunday was a real good day; Barracks full with the right class of men and women. Hallelujah!
From, 'The War Cry', May 1882.
This is just one example of what was happening here. More reports can be seen from the War Cry in future months/years.
I do not know where these meetings were held.
