We have had glorious meetiings all week . Fifty souls have found their way to the feet of Jesus and the place is too small for us, it literally being packed nearly every night. 'Hallelujah David" is so happy all day long that he thinks his weaving looms are singing as well as working all the time.

The town is like a bee-hive for people, everybody singing. Mighty crowds. Barracks packed like figs In a box. Had a fine Turkish Bath. Place so hot, everybody bringing a little fire with them. This beats the patent stoves. My heart leaped for joy as I listened to the thrilling stories of pubilc-house deserters. An infidel, who has just got saved, is now a real Salvation "Ferret," he gets into the holes of the infidels, and fetches them out. This night he had brought one half drunk, who fell down and cried for mercy, and in the struggle for life a stream of drink flew from his mouth and I said, "Hallelujah! the devil is coming out!" And so he did for the man was blessedly saved.
There are many pigeon-flyers saved, and they have found it is much belter to eat them than to fly them; so every day for dinner they are having pigeon-pie, Outside, the crowds were so great, they hung on the window sashes, and while the collection was being made, a man's arm came through the window to put a penny in the box; so he paid for peeping.
