Sliddery (1916-1918)

The minister of Sliddery Free Church was yearning for revival to come to his area, but he was so depressed that it had not come that he considered resigning to allow someone else a chance, however he was persuaded to stay by his elders.

He asked his congregation to pray for the Lord to send someone to minister attheJune Communion who would light the fires. The minister who came had almost instant success, and the revival lasted for at least two years.
