Our enetgetic fellow helper Mr. F. S, Webster, BA has been holding a mission here, in regular Army style. There were Army Hymns, open air marches, which attracted plenty of roughs, an enthusiastic platform of red-hot Christians, and a crowded penitent-form. Above all, there was the power of the Holy Ghost (and plenty of it), working mightily on sinners in every meeting, Some ninety -most of them big fellows, the very worst characters of the place, came out and found Jesus.
From, "The War Cry," page 2, 9th February 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
