(Capt. Tom Payne0

Secretary writes, "Thank God the work on here better than ever, and we are having glorious times. On Thursday, thirty sougt the blessing of a clean heart. On the following Sunday, being richly baptized with the Holy Ghost, expected great things, and, praise God, we were not disappointed, for, on giving out the invitation, the Mercy-seat was besieged with sinners, among others being big working men and their wives: we counted forty precious souls who had sought Salvation. Praise God forever. The "Converted Lawyer, Mr Greenaway who has been saved only eight weeks, and is leaving for Plymouth spoke with much power as he gave his farewell address. He thanked God with all his heart that ever he met with Captain Tom Payne. God is wonderfully working all over the neighbourhood; whole families are getting saved, and, during the past three weeks over one hundred souls have professed to find peace in believing on Jesus.
