WOOLWICH (Capt. Drewery).-The past week has been a grand one. All our Soldiers are going in for the blessing. God is showing them they can live holy in their workshops, as well as in the meetings. Friday night at our Holiness Meeting, nine came out for the blessing. Saturday night we had a real Hallelujah Free-and Easy. Sunday we began at seven, Our Soldiers like these Hallelujah Breakfasts. Good meetings all day. Finished up with twenty-three in the fountain. Praise the Lord, we are expected to be all cleared out of our Sunday Hall at ten o'clock; but last night, when we were about closing, three more came out for Salvation. So the Hall-keeper gave us another half-hour. May the Lord reward him. We mean Woolwich for Jesus.
From, "The War Cry," page 3, 19th January 1882.
I do not know where the meetings were held.
