Clifford (1794)



In the beginning of November, Mr Entwisle received the following letter from his friend and late Superintendent, the Rev. Thomas Hanby, who, it will be remembered, had been elected President of the last Conference. "The Height or Old Barn has sunk much, but the ruins remain, and George still pursues his prey upon his knees. Bramham is become a Bethel; Mr Thorn joined fourteen. Clifford sings as in the days of old, near thirty.
