Stithians (1799)

John Welsy spoke in Stithians six times. He wrote in his journal on April 15th 1744, 'and at eight in Stithians parish. The place was a green triangular plat, capable of holding eight or ten thousand men. I stood on one of the walls that enclosed it. Many sat on the other two. Some thousands stood between, and received the word with readiness of mind.'

Additional Information

I do not know where the meetings were held, except John Wesley spoke on a green triangular plat.
