Llangloffan Welsh Baptist Chapel (1815)

In 1816 there were a number of local and unconnected revivals in south Wales. Henry Davies, the pastor of the Baptist church at Llangloffan, Pembrokeshire, experienced several periods of revival during his ministry, one of which was in 1816 when 48 were baptized at one time. Most of those who were baptized that year attributed their conversion to the instrumentality of Henry Davies. His son says, ‘My father was the means of the conversion of a great many sinners to the Lord, and baptized in his time as many as anyone in Wales.’
