George Wishart - Galston Church (1545)
Wishart preached chiefly in the district of Kyle. For a time he occupied the parish church of Galston, under the protection of John Lockhart of Barr, a Protestant landowner. He also stayed in Barr Castle.

This church was built in 1809, replacing the original.
