In 1823 there was a revival that touched Constantine and the Helston circuit. William Carvosso (see this website) wrote in his journal, 'Whilst I was at Constantine a gracious revival commenced, and I had the happiness of seeing many sinners awakened and brought to the knowledge of the truth.'
