Revival came to Bolingey in 1799; the circuit minister relates; 'March 1st, I was much cast down in my mind, in reflecting on the state of work at Bolingey, when a brother came into the room and told me that he believed God would revive his work that night at that place. He prayed and went to the meeting that night and found more people than he expected. 'That night three found the pardoning love of God. Since that time many have joined those societies.'
